01. Expert in Virtual Reality, Gaming & Metaverse:

  • 3+ years of experience in Unity 3D, C# and versioning tools such as Git.
  • Demonstrated experience in Virtual Reality and other similar technologies (Augmented Reality, Mixed Reality, etc.).
  • Experience in user interfaces and gaming.
  • Interest in Space Exploration and Space Science.
  • Willingness to learn new programming languages.
  • Excellent knowledge of the software development life cycle.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
  • A thorough understanding of engineering best practices, from appropriate testing paradigms to effective peer code reviews and resilient architecture.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently or as part of a team.

  • Completed technical studies in computer science, mathematics, electrical engineering, physics, or other related fields.
  • Interest in Space Exploration and Space Science.
  • Basic knowledge of 3D modelling and 3D printing in different materials. (Solidworks is also an asset.)
  • Experience in computer vision or image processing (further experience with complex algorithms would be a plus).
  • Excellent knowledge of mathematical methods (emphasis on numerical methods).
  • Knowledge of Python, C, C++, and MATLAB.
  • Knowledge of image acquisition techniques, optics, computer architectures and parallel processing is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of ROS, Raspberry, Arduino, drones, etc. is also an asset.
  • Ability to work in a team, flexibility, and commitment.
  • Spoken and written fluency in English and Spanish.

06. Multimedia & 3D expert:

  • Video creation expert. Knowledge in After Effects, Adobe Premiere…
  • Graphic Design expert. Graphic illustration, Brand Identity Design, Marketing & Advertising Design, Packaging Design, Web & User Interface Design…
  • Experience in architectural 3D design and in distributing space for interactive modules, events or museum exhibitions.
  • Knowledge of 3D design, texturing, lighting and animation.
  • Knowledge of 3D printing.
  • Interest in Space Exploration and Space Science.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently or as part of a team.

07. Astrophysicist and education (outreach), space and astronomy:

We are looking for people to form a new space science education and outreach team, whether they are astrophysicists, educators, or space science lovers.

Work:

  • Carrying out STEAM educational workshops and experiments on space sciences.
  • Design and creation of new experiences with our technological department SpaceRobotics.EU (with Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, 3D printing, robotics, holograms, multimedia content, etc.).
  • Participation in different events during the year: Researchers’ Night, World Space Week, Science Week, Expoastronomica…
  • The workshops and experiences will be adapted to primary, secondary and university students, in addition to other adaptations to audiences of all kinds.

Required skills:

  • Understand concepts of astronomy and astrophysics correctly.
  • Interest in astrophysics and planetary science.
  • Interest in scientific communication.
  • Good level of English and Spanish (oral and written).
  • Teamwork.
  • Know how to work with children.
  • Interest in new technologies and their application to education.

Optional extras:

  • Willingness to learn new programming languages.
  • Willingness to understand and learn about IC design-related topics (circuit design, layout design, etc.).
  • Excellent knowledge of the software development life cycle.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Object-Relational Mapping frameworks.
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.

  • Interest in Science Communications.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML.
