We are expanding our technological capabilities with the development of new interactive LED spheres and proprietary multimedia software designed for scientific outreach, educational environments, museums, exhibitions, and events related to space and astronomy.

This new system enables the real-time visualization of planets, satellites, astronomical maps, animated textures, dynamic lighting effects, and fully customizable multimedia content on spherical LED surfaces.

The technology has already been successfully tested during the ESA Space Summer School and the ESA Open Day, demonstrating its versatility and strong visual impact in educational and scientific outreach environments.

Interactive multimedia software

Alongside the hardware development, we have created dedicated multimedia software specifically designed for the control and visualization of content on LED spheres.

The system allows:

  • Real-time planet switching and visualization
  • Insertion of text and animated labels
  • Dynamic lighting and shadow simulation
  • Rotation and movement control
  • Animated transitions and effects
  • Interactive multimedia presentations
  • Scientific and educational visualization modes
  • Integration of custom content for events and exhibitions

This system transforms the LED sphere into a fully interactive visual platform adaptable to multiple educational, scientific, and artistic applications.

Available sizes

The showcased LED sphere features a diameter of 1 meter, offering an ideal balance between portability, visibility, and installation flexibility.

We currently offer LED spheres in multiple sizes: 0.2 m, 0.3 m, 0.5 m, 1 m, 1.5 m, 2 m, and 3 m.

Larger formats such as 1.5 m, 2 m, and 3 m are designed as modular detachable systems to facilitate transportation and assembly in sections.

Applications

These interactive LED spheres are ideal for:

  • STEM education
  • Science museums and exhibitions
  • Planetariums
  • Astronomy and space events
  • Corporate presentations
  • Technology fairs and immersive installations
  • Scientific visualization projects
  • Interactive educational experiences

Their ability to combine high-resolution spherical visualization with customized multimedia interaction makes them a unique tool for both public outreach and professional events.

Technology serving scientific outreach

The integration of advanced LED technology with proprietary multimedia software represents a new step forward in immersive scientific communication. By combining engineering, real-time graphics, and interactive content, these systems allow users to experience astronomical and planetary information in a far more intuitive and engaging way.

The successful validation of the system during events associated with the European Space Agency demonstrates its strong potential for future educational, scientific, and exhibition applications at an international level.
